On November 2017 it was Romania’s time to host the teachers involved in the Erasmus+ project
Hands on Media Literacy. The meeting took place between 8th of November and 10th of November
and it was the 3rd meeting of the teachers from Poland, Turkey, Czech Republic, Latvia, Bulgaria and
Romania that were involved in the project. The host school was Liceul Tehnologic Economic ’Nicolae
Iorga’ from the small town Pascani.
The participants started to arrive on the 7th of November, but the first official meeting was on the
8th on November. On the first day of activity there were involved local authorities, media, TV, and
also teachers from other schools from Pascani.
After the opening meeting all the teachers involved in the project started to talk about project tasks
and issues. An exibition of photographs and computer graphics made by Romanian students after the
training in Turkey was organized in school’s media room. Then teachers presented the prepared
lesson plans on chosen topics. They also presented materials to Hands on media addiction brochures,
the results of the questionnaire about media addiction, and the situation in each country.
Except of the project activities, teacher were also very interested in local history and traditions. They
liked very much traditional music and dances, but also traditional food. In the last day thy went to
visit a palace situated near Pascani and then the city of Iasi, the biggest city in the North-East of
